If you fill in our contact form, we will also collect the data you enter in that form. This data will be sent via email to one or more of our employees and it will also be stored on this website’s server as a back-up. We will never share this data with a third party.
If you are simply browsing through the website we are only collecting anonymous data via the third-party analytics service of Google Analytics.
Embedded content from other websites
Certain pages on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
How do we collect this data?
The data collected via the contact form is provided by the user, meaning you.
The data collected by Google Analytics is collected by placing Cookies on your local computer. This service can be deactivated at any time via the Cookie Preferences. We advise you to review our Cookie Policy to find out more. Any data collection we do in this manner is solely to be used for future improvements to our own website.
Why do we collect this data?
The data we collect from the contact form is solely used to contact you in regards to your message that you have sent. We do not use this data for anything else such as email marketing, etc.
The (anonymous) data we collect (such as page visits, time spent on a page, …) is used for analytical purposes and possible future improvements to our own website. We will never try to use this data to identify unique individuals visiting our website.
Who do we share your data with?
The data collected by the contact form will never be shared with any third-party and is only stored on this webserver (managed by Combell). The data collected by cookies is collected by a third-party: Google Analytics and stored on their servers.
How long we retain your data?
We do not intend to keep your data any longer than absolutely necessary. We delete the form data that’s being stored on this webserver on a regular basis and the anonymous data collected by Google Analytics will not be stored for any longer than five years.
How do we protect your data?
The only place, other than in our mailbox, where we store your data is on this webserver which is managed by our trusted hosting partner, Combell. Only our own employees have access to the admin module of this website and we delete the personal data collected by the contact form from this website on a regular basis.
The content management system and all other plugins/libraries/… used by this website will also receive regular updates as to ensure optimal security.
In the unlikely event that a data breach should occur, we will first determine the extent of the breach and inform the local data protection authority as well as issue a statement to all possible victims whose data might be compromised. After which appropriate steps will be taken to increase the security.
What rights do you have concerning your data?
The current General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) issued by the European Union ensures that you, as an individual have certain rights concerning your own data:
- Withdrawal of consent: you have the right to withdraw any consent in regards to the processing of your data you might have previously given at any time.
